Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, ensuring company standards and best practices are met.

You will staff, train and develop the leadership team to deliver sales and profit while maintaining a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. You will manage stockroom, front end and sales floor, ensure merchandise is received promptly, and control expenses through productivity and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to store associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates.
• Lead store operations to meet company standards and drive sales.
• Staff, train and develop the leadership team.
• Manage stockroom, front-end and sales floor operations.
• Ensure payroll, scheduling and compliance with company policies.
• Maintain a safe, clean, easy-to-shop store environment.
