Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a proven Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations and drive sales. You will lead a ~10-person team across departments, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and ensure outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership and communication, with accountability for P&L, inventory, and staff development, including responding to emergencies and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business/retail preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail supervisory experience.
• Experience leading both perishable and non-perishable departments.
• Strong communication, analytical, and solution-focused decisiveness.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and HR software.

Responsibilities

• Direct all business processes at the assigned Sprouts store.
• Lead a team of approximately ten: Department Managers and Receivers.
• Drive store sales, engage team members, and ensure customer service excellence.
• Maintain safety, labeling, health, and sanitation standards.
• Oversee inventory, scheduling, and loss prevention in partnership with leadership.
• Communicate policies, initiatives, and product knowledge across teams.
