Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations and drive sales with a lean, customer‑focused team. You will lead roughly ten associates including Department Managers and Receivers, ensuring safety, product knowledge, and daily execution of programs across departments.

You will shape culture, coach leaders, and manage inventory, labor, and expenditures to achieve targets, while upholding Sprouts standards and policies in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business management or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Experience leading multiple departments with P&L, safety, and staffing responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and solution-focused.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic HR software.

Responsibilities

• Positively shape store culture by modeling Sprouts values.
• Develop the store leadership team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Lead a team of approximately ten people including Department Managers and Receivers.
• Motivate and develop management by embracing Sprouts leadership behaviors.
• Celebrate store successes and identify opportunities for perpetual improvement.
• Evolve customer satisfaction by teaching teams to exceed expectations.
• Demonstrate advanced product knowledge when assisting customers and training staff.
• Communicate expectations, policy changes, and product knowledge.
• Provide and receive feedback for effective communication and collaboration.
• Address emergencies, equipment failures, and issues with urgency.
• P&L ownership - manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets.
• Maintain compliance with safety and food safety requirements.
• Oversee safety, security, and loss prevention concerns with the BPS team.
