Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to direct all store operations, drive sales, and lead a team of department managers and receivers. You will model Sprouts values, develop leaders, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage inventory, labor, and expenses to targets, maintain safety standards, and communicate policy changes. This role emphasizes people leadership and operational excellence across departments.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in business/retail fields preferred.
• 1–3 years of retail experience.
• Experience leading both perishable and non-perishable departments with P&L, safety, staffing, and merchandising.
• Strong professional communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR software.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Food safety certification required.
• Physical ability to lift 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Direct store operations and drive sales, guest service, and safety programs.
• Develop and coach the store leadership team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Lead a team of department managers and receivers with integrity and respect.
• Manage inventory, labor, and expenses to meet targets and maintain GMP standards.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations, safety, and sanitation.
• Oversee displays, pricing accuracy, and promotional execution on the sales floor.
