Job summary

Casey’s General Stores Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead store teams, drive sales, and uphold Casey's CARES values in daily operations.

You will hire, train, mentor and coach team members, manage labor budgets, ensure quality service, maintain inventory, and partner with district leadership to execute action plans for KPIs and store profitability. This role requires flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to maintain leadership presence across store hours.

Qualifications

• Transferrable professional experience in retail or similar leadership roles.
• Proven ability to build, develop, and lead a team.
• Capacity to prioritize tasks and drive performance to meet goals.
• Ownership mindset and effective written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute Casey's strategic initiatives, drive sales, and maintain quality and service standards within your store.
• Ensure the store is stocked and clean to build relationships with guests and communities.
• Hire, train, develop, and supervise new Team Members; coach and mentor your team.
• Model Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service.
• Manage labor budget, staffing for regular hours and events; maintain scheduling.
• Oversee kitchen operations to maximize productivity and profitability.
• Complete daily bookwork, audits, counts, and merchandise orders; manage inventory and DSD.
• Partner with District Manager to develop Store Action Plans based on KPIs and P&L.
• Attend trainings and ensure Team Members complete required trainings.
