Job summary

Carter’s is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Atlanta to be the brand’s first face for growing families. You will guide staff, ensure customer-focused service, and lead training and development. The role emphasizes inclusivity, product knowledge, and strong teamwork across shifts.

As part of Carter’s, you’ll drive daily operations, plan merchandising, and participate in hiring while maintaining high standards of service and store presentation. This position is on-site at our Atlanta location.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success and model service standards and omnichannel experience.
• Analyze the business and drive KPI performance with the team.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store staff.
• Plan and track merchandising, promotions, and product placement.
