Carter's in Commerce, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of our brand for growing families. You'll greet customers, guide them to the right baby essentials, and build a welcoming, inclusive team environment.

You'll coach staff to deliver outstanding service, manage scheduling and KPIs, and collaborate with the Store Manager on merchandising and promotions to drive sales while maintaining store standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our great product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success and maintain service standards.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results.
• Partner with Store Manager on merchandising standards, promotional planning, and product placement.
• Assist the Store Manager in building and retaining a successful team through recruiting, training, and development.
