Job summary

Carter's is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to be the first face of the brand for families visiting our store. You will lead a team, deliver friendly service, and coach staff to achieve sales goals while upholding our product standards.

You will assist in recruiting, scheduling, merchandising, and KPI reporting, with a focus on inclusivity, safety, and a positive work environment. Availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Assist Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results utilizing company tools.
• Merchandise planning, promotional planning, and product placement.
