Job summary

Carter's is seeking a Store Manager in Wellington, FL to lead a high-performing team and deliver exceptional service. You will coach staff on product knowledge, brand features, and sales strategies while managing merchandising, payroll, and budgets on a daily basis.

As the brand representative, you will foster an inclusive environment, recruit and develop leaders, and ensure an engaging omnichannel shopping experience for families across our baby and kids lines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of retail management experience leading direct reports.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

• Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting.
• Develop succession plans by training and developing your team.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment for employees to collaborate and recognize performance to increase engagement.
• Grow leaders by providing direction, delegation, and investing in their development.
• Lead and direct the Leader on Duty program to deliver a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles and benefits.
• Drive customer loyalty by coaching on loyalty programs and credit benefits.
• Execute merchandising and store operations; manage payroll and budgets.
• Understand KPIs and identify behaviors to drive results.
• Seamlessly lead an omnichannel experience with trained teams.
