Job summary

S&G Stores is hiring a Store Manager to lead a single unit, ensuring efficient operation and compliance with laws and company policies. The role trains staff, drives sales and profits, and maintains asset controls. This is a salaried exempt position with a 50-hour work week.

The manager will supervise staff, ensure proper merchandising, and uphold customer service standards while coordinating with store leadership on performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Retail / Customer service experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to resolve issues
• Knowledge of retail business management practices
• Knowledge of store transactions and related programs
• Knowledge of Company systems and technology

• Provides customer service leadership and direction for store and team
• Ensures employees follow Company policies
• Maintains store appearance inside and out
• Fosters customer service and satisfaction
• Develops staff and encourages productivity
• Responds to emergencies for safety and security
• Executes merchandising and marketing programs and sign placement
• Educates staff on selling initiatives
• Monitors transactions and ensures proper procedures
• Rotates foodservice products and removes outdated items
• Completes store reports and performance appraisals in a timely fashion
