Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and coach a team in a high-energy retail environment in Beachwood, Ohio. You will ensure outstanding customer service, uphold brand standards, and manage staffing, merchandising, and store performance.

This role reports to the Store Manager and focuses on delivering a best-in-class shopping experience. Responsibilities include leading by example, training staff, handling scheduling, and executing

Qualifications

• Ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Clear, professional verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Administer progressive discipline as needed in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive team environment aligned with Brand Standards.
• Schedule and staff the store; cover shifts during peak periods.
• Recruit and train store personnel on procedures and operations.
• Ensure policy compliance and protect company assets (inventory, funds, property).
• Support in executing sales strategies to hit KPIs and targets.
• Address customer feedback and escalations promptly to resolve issues.
