Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and uphold exceptional customer service in our Columbus store. You will oversee scheduling, training, and adherence to company policies while ensuring a welcoming and high-performing environment for staff and customers.

You’ll report to the Store Manager and participate in maintaining store standards, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention. This role includes opportunities for career development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to drive sales while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer and team interactions.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision and make decisions on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs and goal setting.
• Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and dress code; supervise daily store operations.
• Engage the team to foster a fun, productive environment and support store objectives.
• Manage store staffing, recruitment support, and performance discipline as needed.
