Job summary

Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Ohio location. You will lead store operations, coach associates, and ensure outstanding customer service while upholding brand standards.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage scheduling, training, and performance, while maintaining visuals, inventory, and daily financial controls. This role requires a proactive, customer‑driven leader committed to growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Manage store associates through LIDS Training Programs, goal setting for sales and tasks, and regular follow up.
• Administer the progressive steps of discipline, including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Engage team members by creating a fun and productive environment, including helping them understand how their work supports company objectives.
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on proper store operations and procedures.
• Lead, execute and assist selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets, and exceptional customer service.
• Resolve customer feedback and address issues in the moment, including escalations and urgent requests.
• Maintain current visual guidelines, merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain store technology and equipment, conduct daily audits, updates, and repairs as needed.
• Open and close the store following the Operations P&P Manual.
