Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Store Manager/Department Manager to support store operations, sales and staffing. You will work with department heads to implement merchandising plans, analyze performance, and develop action plans to improve customer experience and profitability.

You will model inclusive leadership, coach staff, manage in the store manager's absence, and drive budgets and performance goals across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing associates to achieve customer service and business goals in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Demonstrated experience using KPIs, metrics, and data insights to identify opportunities and support decisions.
• Proven ability to collaborate across departments and influence others to drive store performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager and associates in achieving a favorable customer shopping experience.
• Lead teams in planning and executing merchandising and operating initiatives.
• Develop action plans from Associate Insight survey results and communicate to staff.
• Identify store opportunities with department heads and implement timely solutions.
• Promote inclusive leadership and equitable behavior among associates.
• Manage total store operations in the store manager’s absence and drive budgets.
