Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to lead customer service excellence and profitable sales growth in-store. You will train and develop associates to execute merchandise standards, floor moves, and visual presentation while leveraging omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup In Store and curbside services.

You will coach teams across specialty areas, manage staffing for peak times, and monitor performance against shrink, safety, and productivity goals.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead customer service initiatives and drive sales growth.
• Experience training and developing retail staff to execute programs.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in-store and resolves issues.
• Maintains merchandise standards, pricing, and signing; executes floor plans and visual standards.
• Trains, mentors and coaches associates on omnichannel processes and buy online pickup/curbside.
• Leads specialty areas (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and drives sell-through and merchandising efforts.
• Recruits and develops hourly store talent; supports performance coaching.
• Meets performance standards across shrink, safety, scheduling, engagement, and productivity.
