Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and profitable sales growth in-store. You will lead and engage associates, manage merchandising standards, and execute visual plans while coaching the team to deliver exceptional service.

You will oversee omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pick Up In Store and curbside pickup, and support specialty businesses to maximize sales and minimize shrink. Strong leadership and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer service focus and problem solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead and coach a team.
• Experience in merchandising and store presentation workflows.
• Familiarity with omnichannel processes (Pickup, Ship from Store, BOPIS).
• Ability to drive sales through staff development and process optimization.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in-store; resolves issues.
• Maintains merchandise standards and executes shelving, pricing and signing.
• Trains and mentors associates across omnichannel processes.
• Leads specialty business initiatives (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and shrink reduction.
• Partners with leadership to source and hire hourly staff; coaches on performance.
