Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and sales growth by leading associates, maintaining merchandise standards, and executing visual programs. The role includes training staff to execute sales-building initiatives and manage omnichannel processes such as Buy Online Pickup In Store and curbside pickup.

Responsibilities include directing customer service, maintaining store presentation, and leading specialty business initiatives while fostering team development

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coaching store associates (supervisory role).
• Knowledge of merchandising standards and visual presentation.
• Ability to manage omni-channel processes (delivery, pickup, returns).
• Strong customer service skills and issue-resolution ability.
• Ability to train and develop associates and foster performance.

Responsibilities

• Directs Customer Service and sales activities in store; resolves customer issues.
• Manages store merchandise standards and execution (PUT to Fixture, SET, pricing, signing).
• Trains, mentors and coaches associates on jcp.com pickup and delivery processes.
• Leads Specialty Businesses (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and signage/merchandising plans.
• Develops talent; collaborates to source and hire store staff; coaches on performance.
