Job summary

JCPenney seeks a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive exceptional customer service, lead and engage associates, and uphold merchandise standards while training staff to execute all sales-building programs. You will oversee omnichannel activities such as Buy Online Pick Up In Store, Ship from Store, and curbside pickup, mentor teams in specialty areas, and ensure performance, safety, and shrink targets are met.

Experience supervising sales floor operations.

Responsibilities

Directs Customer Service and sales activities in store; resolves customer issues and concerns.
Models and holds team accountable for outstanding customer service; actively listens to customer issues to resolve problems.
Manages merchandise standards through Put to Fixture, SET, and Visual process execution; leads in merchandising and pricing.
Trains, mentors and coaches associates on omnichannel processes including pickup, delivery, and returns.
Oversees special business areas (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) and merchandizing, shrink reduction, and sell-through.
Teaches, trains and coaches associates; partners to source and hire store talent; develops team performance.
