Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and profitable sales growth by leading associates and managing merchandise standards. You will train and develop associates to execute sales-building programs.

You will direct customer service and sales activities, manage merchandise standards and oversee omnichannel processes, including pickup and ship-from-store operations.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and sales leadership in a retail environment.

• Experience managing merchandise standards and visual execution.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in store; addresses issues.
• Manages merchandise standards through fixtures, set and visuals; pricing/signage.
• Trains and coaches associates on omnichannel processes and pickup orders.
• Leads specialty businesses: jewelry, mattress, and window with training and care plans.
• Partners to source and hire hourly staff; coaches performance in the moment.
• Meets performance standards including shrink, safety, scheduling and engagement.
