Job summary

JCPenney is seeking a Sales Floor Supervisor to drive customer service and profitable sales growth in-store. You will lead and engage associates, manage merchandise presentation, and execute visual standards while training staff on sales-building programs.

You will oversee omnichannel processes (Ship from Store, Buy Online Pick Up In Store, Curbside) and lend leadership to specialty departments, ensuring high standards of service and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or customer-focused environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coaching associates.
• Ability to drive sales through service excellence and execution.

Responsibilities

• Directs customer service and sales activities in-store; resolves issues.
• Maintains merchandise standards and supports pricing/signage processes.
• Trains, mentors and coaches associates on processes and programs.
• Manages omnichannel pickup, delivery, and BOPIS processes within required timelines.
• Leads specialty business teams (Fine Jewelry, Mattress, Window) for sales growth.
• Monitors performance standards and drives store profitability and attendance.
