Job summary

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is seeking an Assistant Store Manager (ASM) to lead a team and deliver a white-glove customer experience in a fast-paced loan/pawn environment. You will train Customer Service Representatives, enforce compliance, and help meet performance standards while building relationships with customers and partners.

Regular in-person hours include a 40-hour work week with occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 months of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Minimum one year in customer service, sales, or retail.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use during shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (19 in Alabama).

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full loan/pawn cycle and educate consumers on financial needs.
• Assist account management and recovery processes, including collections calls, while maintaining customer service focus.
• Meet company performance standards by leveraging partnerships, obtaining referrals, and hosting in-store/community events.
• Develop customer relationships to grow business and protect store profitability.
• Provide coaching and development to Customer Service Representatives to ensure quality standards and safety.
• Maintain accurate customer information in the POS system.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage opening/closing procedures, vault, cash drawer, and bank deposits.
• Maintain store appearance and address basic facility needs; adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with customers and Team Members at all levels.
