Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Newark, DE to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will manage staffing, training, and performance to meet KPIs while maintaining store standards and a welcoming, inclusive environment.

In this role, you will oversee scheduling, coach associates, and ensure compliance with policies, while partnering with leadership to execute inventory controls and program initiatives.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints.
• Lead store associates through training programs and follow-up.
• Recruit and train store personnel on operations and procedures.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and protect inventory.
• Schedule and staff the store during peak periods.
