Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Newark to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will supervise staff, train teams, and ensure compliance with company policies while maintaining an engaging, inclusive store atmosphere.

You will be responsible for coaching employees, managing schedules, and supporting the Store Manager to meet KPIs and inventory controls in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty for scheduling and customer issues.
• Lead and develop store associates through training programs.

• Schedule and staff the store, including peak periods.
• Assist recruiting and training staff.
• Support cash handling and POS operations.
