Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Montclair, CA. You will lead daily store operations, coach the team on service standards, and ensure customer satisfaction. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and a focus on sales performance.

You will oversee scheduling, training, and store procedures while maintaining visual standards and inventory integrity. A hands-on leader, you’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive growth.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as manager on duty for scheduling, customer complaints, and issues when the Store Manager is away.
• Lead store associates via LIDS training programs, set goals, and provide follow-up.
• Recruit, train, and develop store personnel while enforcing company policies.
• Drive selling strategy to meet KPIs and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Maintain visual merchandising, store cleanliness, and proper signage.
• Open/close the store, manage cash, and prepare for inventory audits.
