Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and deliver outstanding customer service in our Montclair store. You’ll act as manager on duty when needed, coach a team, and uphold Lids’ brand standards while ensuring a welcoming shopping experience for fans.

Responsibilities include executing training, managing scheduling and staffing, handling cash and storefront visuals, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting promotions from HQ to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
• Ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues and customer complaints when Store Manager is not present.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs, sales targets and customer service excellence.
• Maintain store visuals, cleanliness and merchandising according to guidelines.
• Manage cash handling, opening/closing till and bank deposits.
