Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Bozeman, MT to partner with the Store Manager in driving sales, service and merchandising standards. You will lead a team on the sales floor, coach associates, and help execute store initiatives to meet goals.

Responsibilities include scheduling, interviewing for store roles, training, and ensuring compliance with policies. The role emphasizes community engagement and delivering a positive customer experience in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Availability for nights, weekends and holidays; flexible scheduling.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead partners to foster a service culture and exceed customer expectations; build long-lasting relationships.
• Coach and develop team members; provide timely feedback and recognition; be present on the sales floor during peak hours.
• Collaborate with Store Manager on staffing, scheduling, and policy rollout; train staff on new policies.
