Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and aid in daily operations as Manager on Duty. You will supervise Associates, ensure safe environments, and maintain presentation standards across the store.

You will also oversee front-end operations, training, and loss prevention while supporting merchandising, stocking, and administrative tasks as part of a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the Store, supervise Associates, and manage operations as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and clean work areas to standards.
• Implement and supervise store processes, loss prevention, and safety protocols.
• Lead front-end operations, train cashiers, and oversee checkout efficiency.
• Oversee stockroom organization, back-stock, and merchandising of departments.
