Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specific store area and oversee daily operations as Manager on Duty.

You’ll supervise Associates, ensure safe conditions, and maintain compelling product presentation to drive savings for customers. Responsibilities include front-end supervision, loss prevention awareness, and ensuring efficient merchandising, stockroom upkeep, and store standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure store environment and report hazards.
• Open and close the store as assigned; supervise Associates.
• Ensure proper merchandise presentation and clean work areas.
• Coach Associates on cash handling and Front End procedures.
• Assist with stockroom organization and merchandising.
