Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to manage a defined store area and oversee operations when on duty. You will supervise Associates, ensure merchandise presentation, and maintain a welcoming, efficient shopping environment.

Responsibilities include frontline leadership, training on registers and policies, and enforcing loss prevention and safety standards to protect customers and assets.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates as Manager on Duty.
• Maintain merchandise presentation and a clean, easy-to-shop environment.
• Execute company processes and supervise Front End operations.
• Support loss prevention and safety procedures on the sales floor.
• Train and coach Associates on cash registers and policies.
