Ross Stores is seeking an Area Supervisor to lead a specified store area and oversees daily operations as the Manager on Duty. You will supervise Associates, ensure merchandise presentation, and maintain a safe, clean shopping environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates during the Store Leadership shift.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and friendly shopping environment; ensure merchandise is presented to standard.
• Lead and coach Associates; enforce company policies, loss prevention, and safety procedures.
• Support daily operations, including front-end supervision, stockroom organization, and merchandising tasks.
• Ensure customer service excellence and teamwork across departments.
