Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. seeks an Assistant Manager of Sales and Service to support the store management team in delivering World-Class service and building customer relationships. You will maintain presence on the sales floor to ensure adequate staff coverage across all areas of the store.

You will lead by example, coaching staff, reinforcing service principles, and driving sales while maintaining a positive, inclusive environment for all associates.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization and leadership skills.
• Strong critical thinking to identify challenges and create action plans.
• Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
• 2-3 years of retail sales or customer service management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead store team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and meet sales goals.
• Ensure staffing covers the sales floor and model strong sales and service behaviours.
• Coach staff on successes and challenges to reinforce service principles.
• Educate team using Selling Essentials and training resources to improve product knowledge and selling skills.
• Foster a positive environment where associates are treated with dignity per the People-First philosophy.
• Resolve client service issues promptly, including delivery/pick-up, using reporting systems.
