Job summary

Steve Madden is seeking a Store Assistant Manager (Full-Time) in Orlando to support the Store Manager in all store operations. The role focuses on guiding a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences that reflect the Steve Madden brand.

You will help with profitability, training, inventory control, and visual merchandising while maintaining brand standards and delivering outstanding service to our customers in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of retail experience required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Store Manager to maximize profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations, and compliance.
• Create exceptional customer experiences with client focus and collaboration.
• Implement visual merchandising directives to align with brand strategies.
• Ensure replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Ensure compliance with loss prevention and safety policies.
• Assist in training, operations, sales, merchandising, inventory management, and store administration.
• Foster development and accountability within the team.
• Process information or merchandise through the POS system.
• Assist in hiring qualified candidates and support staffing decisions.
• Be flexible and perform duties outside core role when needed.
