Steve Madden Store is seeking a dedicated Store Assistant Manager (full-time) to work alongside the Store Manager in daily store operations. This role focuses on guiding a team to deliver an exceptional customer experience aligned with Steve Madden brand values.

The position requires leadership in merchandising, loss prevention, and store performance, with responsibilities spanning training, inventory, and customer service. A flexible schedule is essential to meet store needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years of retail experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control and loss prevention.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including day, evening, weekends, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to maximize profitability through customer engagement, merchandising, operations and community connection.
• Create exceptional customer experiences with a client focus and teamwork.
• Implement visual merchandising directives to support brand strategies.
• Ensure replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.
• Assist in training, operations, sales, inventory management, and store administration.
• Support hiring processes and staff development as needed.
