Job summary

The Children's Place in Quil Ceda Village, Washington is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by handling cash-wrap operations, opening and closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). The Store Lead will represent the brand, operate in a professional manner, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and employee development.

The role emphasizes coaching associates, partnering with the Store Manager on performance, participating in training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates and in-the-moment coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during reviews.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and a positive store environment.
• Model exceptional customer service and maintain brand standards on the floor.
• Support management to maximize productivity through knowledge of operations and products.
• Participate in Leader on Duty program to drive store profitability and payroll.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and ensure CRE standards & safety.
