Job summary

The Childrens Place in Queenstown, MD is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap, opening/closing, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. You will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards, and support teamwork and staff development.

You will train associates, coach in the moment, and collaborate with the Store Manager to address performance issues while driving store profitability and providing an exceptional shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates and coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely feedback.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during reviews.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and store environment.
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor.
• Represent the company professionally.
• Support management to maximize productivity via operations and knowledge.
• Participate in Leader on Duty program to drive store profitability and payroll.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and adhere to policies.
• Ensure CRE Standards & Safety requirements are met.
