The Children’s Place in Peoria, IL is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing procedures, and acting as Leader on Duty (LOD). You will engage customers, maintain store standards, and foster teamwork and employee development.

The role emphasizes coaching, brand representation, and driving store profitability through effective scheduling, payroll, and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through coaching conversations.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns with associates.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Foster a positive work environment and provide timely, objective feedback.
