Job summary

The Children’s Place in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Store Lead to support the Store Leadership Team by managing cash-wrap, opening/closing procedures, and serving as Leader on Duty. You will model brand standards, engage customers, and develop team members while driving profitability and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include coaching, performance feedback, scheduling, payroll processing, and maintaining a busy, customer-focused environment on the sales floor and in stockrooms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of retail experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates and coaching.
• Partner with Store Manager to address performance concerns.
• Support and participate in company training initiatives.
• Provide timely, objective feedback and maintain store standards.
• Lead on Duty program to enhance customer experience and store profitability.
• Process payroll weekly and adjust schedules as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized stockroom and ensure safety standards.
