Job summary

The Children’s Place is seeking a Store Lead in Rosemont, IL to support the Store Leadership Team with cash-wrap operations, opening/closing duties, and Leader on Duty responsibilities. You will represent the brand, engage customers, maintain store standards, and develop team members.

Key focus areas include coaching, performance feedback, scheduling, and ensuring excellent customer service. The role requires 1–3 years retail experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years previous retail experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing talent through training of associates, including coaching conversations.
• Address performance concerns with associates with Store Manager.
• Support and participate in company training and development initiatives.
• Provide timely, objective feedback to maintain a positive work environment.
• Assess performance and provide feedback during daily activities and annual reviews.
• Motivate associates to build brand loyalty and a positive store atmosphere.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service on the sales floor and uphold brand standards.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
• Support management to boost productivity through knowledge, service, and initiatives.
• Participate in Leader on Duty (LOD) to enhance customer experience and store profitability.
• Process payroll weekly.
• Modify schedules based on business needs.
• Maintain clean, organized stockroom and comply with policies.
• Ensure CRE Standards & Safety requirements are met.
