Job summary

Walgreens in Morristown, TN is seeking a store associate to open and close the store in the absence of management, handle cash, and ensure floor and stock rooms are ready for business days. You may also assist with vendor deliveries at back doors and support daily operations.

You will greet customers, process returns, refunds, and assist with pricing, inventory, and displays. A year of leadership experience and fluency in English are preferred; PTCB or pharmacy license may be required by state.

Qualifications

• 1 year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes the store in the absence of store management, including cash handling and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready.
• Completes product returns, refunds, cash drops, and provides change to registers.
• Engages customers to deliver a distinctive and delightful experience.
• Manages store keys to open/close and assists with vendor deliveries through back doors.
• Maintains inventory accuracy, price changes, and displays per policy.
• Supports bookkeeping tasks, cash reports, and store maintenance as needed.
