Job summary

Five Below is seeking a motivated leader to oversee store operations and ensure exceptional customer service. As Manager on Duty, you will guide crew, manage opening and closing procedures, and partner with the store leadership team to optimize merchandising and guest experience.

Starting at $11.50 per hour, this hourly role offers opportunities to train associates, handle stock, maintain store standards, and contribute to a fast-paced environment across retail locations.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Creative thinking; adaptable under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and service.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, organizing stock.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, handling store operations and staff.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, sets alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and recovery.
• Performs maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
