O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and will help lead the team in servicing diverse customers.

The role includes coaching, hiring support, and ensuring efficient processing of orders, transfers, and returns, with emphasis on meeting policies and store programs. Growth and development are emphasized within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification are required.
• Certified Parts Professional Certification and ASE Certification are preferred.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom and ensure team execution on service programs.
• Assist the store manager in staffing, interviewing, hiring, and coaching team members.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per company policy and processes are followed.
• Process buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers promptly and communicate shipment arrivals to customers.
• Manage outside purchases and special orders efficiently using the ledger and procedures.
• Ensure returns and exchanges are handled efficiently with correct refunds and proper staging.
• Oversee daily opening/closing duties, including money handling, deposits, and security procedures.
