Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance and store operations. This role will lead the store team, manage opposing shifts, and ensure service excellence for customers.

Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply; Spanish is highly desired. The position also involves hiring, coaching, and ensuring policy compliance while maintaining a safe, efficient store environment.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service certifications for leadership roles.
• Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification required or strongly preferred.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable for bilingual customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise showroom customer service levels and ensure team execution of service programs.
• Assist in staffing during peak hours and lead goal setting, coaching and training.
• Participate in recruiting, interviews and selection of qualified team members.
• Perform opening/closing duties, manage banking deposits, and secure the store.
