Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. You will lead the store team during shifts and manage the store in the manager’s absence, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to retail and professional customers.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure program execution (Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot).
• Assist the store manager in staffing, coaching, and training to meet goals.
• Participate in hiring processes, scheduling interviews, and selecting qualified team members.
• Ensure phone calls are answered per policy and orders are processed timely across buy online/ship to store, hub, and store-to-store transfers.
