Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate in a fast-paced retail setting. You will lead customer service efforts, operate the register, stock and rotate merchandise, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.

You will support planogram execution, assist in store opening/closing, and perform supervisory duties when the Store Manager is unavailable. Minimum high school diploma preferred, with prior supervisory experience advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with supervisory exposure preferred.
• Experience in cash handling and customer service.
• Ability to read planograms and merchandise presentation guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service leadership and greet customers.
• Operate cash register, total purchases, and give change.
• Stock merchandise, rotate displays, and set up displays.
• Clean the store and maintain housekeeping.
• Assist with planograms and store opening/closing responsibilities.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
• Follow safety policies and protect company assets.
