Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help ensure planograms are followed.

You may open/close the store and take on leadership responsibilities in the Store Manager's absence. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and some supervisory experience or related training.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and leadership capabilities.
• Proficient cash handling and register operation.
• Ability to read and implement merchandising plans and planograms.
• Comfortable with stocking, pricing, and shelf maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock merchandise, rotate stock, and assist in creating displays per planograms.
• Clean and maintain the store environment, including restrooms and common areas.
• Open and close the store under direction of Store Manager.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
