Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position in United States requires strong customer service leadership and cash handling skills. You will help customers locate and purchase merchandise, operate a cash register, stock and rotate stock, and maintain a clean store environment.

The role includes assisting with planograms, opening/closing procedures, and taking on duties when the Store Manager or Assistant Manager is absent. High school diploma and some supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months of supervisory experience (or related training) preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to total purchases, collect payment, and bag merchandise.
• Stock, restock and rotate merchandise; build displays.
• Clean the store; manage upkeep and cleanliness.
• Assist in implementation of planograms.
• Open and close the store under Store Manager guidance.
• Perform duties in absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
