Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store and focus on customer-first service. You will assist customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and help implement planograms.

This role also supports store leadership in the absence of the Store Manager and involves opening/closing duties. The position requires strong communication, cash handling, and safety awareness, with a high school diploma and some supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead in the absence of Store Manager.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner; total purchases and provide change.
• Stock merchandise; maintain planograms and displays.
• Clean store; manage trash, floors, restrooms, and stockroom.
• Open/close the store under Store Manager guidance; support in their absence.
