Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to help maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock and rotate merchandise, and help implement planograms under the Store Manager’s direction.

The role covers leading in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring excellent service, safe cash handling, and efficient store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a cash register and assist customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise and restock on shelves; maintain planograms and displays.
• Clean the store and restock as needed; handle trash and sanitize areas.
• Open/close the store under Store Manager direction; support in absent coverage.
