Job summary

Dollar General Corporation is seeking a Lead Sales Associate to maintain a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist customers, operate the cash register, stock merchandise, and help with displays while supporting the Store Manager in daily operations.

The role requires strong communication, math and safety awareness, with prior supervisory experience preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position at a Dollar General location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience (or related training) is preferred.
• Ability to lead in the absence of management and to follow company processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership and assist customers.
• Operate cash register, scan items, total purchases, and handle payments.
• Stock, restock, and rotate merchandise; build displays per planograms.
• Keep the store clean and organized, including restrooms and stockroom.
• Open/close the store under management direction; perform duties in manager's absence.
• Support store management in daily operations and safeguarding company assets.
