Job summary

Dollar General Lead Sales Associate position seeking an individual to provide customer-focused service and run daily store operations. You will greet customers, operate the register, stock shelves, and maintain displays while adhering to safety and planogram standards.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and some supervisory exposure. This role involves opening/closing duties and serving as a team lead when managers are unavailable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of supervisory experience or related training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow planograms and merchandising guides.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet and assist customers.
• Operate cash register and scanner to itemize and total customer's purchase, collect payment and make change.
• Stock merchandise, restock and rotate displays, and build merchandise displays.
• Clean the store, take out trash, mop floors, and assist with sidewalk displays.
• Open and close the store under direction of the Store Manager.
• Perform duties in the absence of Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
